Need a Valentine card for my one and only!
Thought I would tie it in with the Cute Card Thursday Challenge.
The theme is "Buttons"
I used the polka dot stamping pad from Hunkydory for the background paper.
The Feathery Friends stamp set from Stampin Up! - coloured with a few copics.
Then printed the sentiment and added the buttons -
I just couldn't resist adding a charm.
Thank you for looking

I am entering this card in the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge
The theme this week is "let it snow"
I've made a little card with some freebies from a magazine and my Stampin Up! inks.

I used a basecard of midnight navy and cut a slightly smaller piece of white card to get inky with.
The embossing folder was covered in cosmic shimmer chalk cloud and after I had run it through the embossing folder I wiped the ink off the snowflakes to lighten them.
I them stamped some darker pink snowflakes with Sweet Sugarplum ink and adhered this to the base card.

The navy snowflakes were also part of the freebies. I just glittered them up with wink of stella and stamped the label.

Another Christmas card made ready for December!

x
This card is for the Merry Christmas Challenge (ornament) and the Merry Monday Challenge (snow)

I used a Tattered Lace snow globe die to create the basic card shape.
Then created a white circle for the centre which I coloured with Pool Party ink. Theres a bit of stencilling on the bottom too to look like the village underneath.
I gold embossed Santa and the reindeers then added random dots of white embossing enamel to look like snow.
The pointsettia is stamped and coloured in copics, then cut out and stuck close to the sentiment - from the Christmas Cuties stamp set (Hunkydory FTLOS)
Never made a snow globe card before!

My take on the Fusion Card Challenge
This weeks theme is Coffee and a Book
I've tried to follow the sketch too.

It's a little 4 x 6 card base
I cut a small piece of card the same colour
and added coffee cup marks.

I coloured a 2.5 x 3.75 piece of card with
Sahara Sand and Early Expresso Stampin up! inks -
and added another coffee cup stain.

I stamped the books and cut them out,
then stacked them into position.
Then added a sentiment - printed from my PC.

Something Fun - the theme for Cute Card Thursday Challenge
I think these ladies are cute, and they're definitely having fun!

The stamp is from Ai original stamps - Party Girl Girlfriends
I have coloured them with my kuretake pens
(still getting to grips with these)

Then I layered them onto dotty paper and added a black border

The pen colours I used are:- 32 Persian blue, 66 Dark Oatmeal, 52 Bright Yellow,
10 Black, 62 Dark brown, 27 Dark pink, 28 Pale pink, 83 Lilac,
24 Wine red, 46 Mid Green, 3 Fl pink, 71 Flesh, 4 Fl green

I've really enjoyed the freebies in Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine this month.
I have made 2 sets of cards which I shall make a box for to give as gifts.
There's even enough left to make at least another set.

Blue set . . . . . . . .Pink set!
Made with the free papers, inked around edge, handmade flowers and a stamped sentiment from Hunkydory FTLOS Essential Insert Collection

I used the Signature Collection dies which came free with the magazine
to make these sympathy cards.

The lovely papers - die cut with the freebie Antique edge dies from Signature Collection by Sara Davies. I have added a row of pearls across the top of the card and edged the card with ink.

This was the first design I put together. The papers are so lovely they really don't need too much adding to them to make a pretty card.

I used some ribbons from some of the Christmas wrapping this year to add a feminine touch to this one. It took a little longer to make due to all the die cutting.

A little bit more die cutting.

And a little bit more!

No die cutting here - but plenty of pearls.

So once I had bought Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine and found the best  co-ordinating card for the card bases, everything else came from my stash.

I shall keep an eye out for this magazine next month -
Now I just need to make a matching box for each set.

Thank you for looking.

So far so good. . . . . 3 weeks into the new year & 3 Christmas cards made for 2018!

This is a 6 x 6 inch red card base,
with a smaller white layer ready and waiting for the inky bit.
I cut a 5.5 inch square of white card and
coloured it with Tempting Turquoise ink
then sprayed it with some water I found in my spritz bottle.
I used the Beautiful Baubles stamp set from Hunkydory FTLOS,
stamped some corners and the swirl at the top - which I heat embossed.
Then I edged the card in red ink and added the snowflakes & dotty strings.
The red die cut letters are Tattered Lace Illuminated Letters.
I am putting this in the Merry Monday Challenge
And the The Merry Christmas Challenge

One of the cards I made with my new Hobby House kit,
I've been promising myself a day with this kit for so long!
The pearls and flowers are beautiful and these loving little critters are so cute.
Cute enough for the Cute card Thursday Challenge?
Love this scruffy little Cat -Chanel - from Crafters Companion
Coloured with copics
A bit of chalk cloud behind her and a fabulous pearl string
Papers are from Heartfelt creations and Stampin up!
and the green flowers are ribbon.

I love her and am putting her into the Craft Stamper Magazine January Challenge

Love these free papers from Making Cards Magazine

I have a new glue gun so I have been practising with it -
it's sooooo much better than the last one I had.

All 3 of these cards were made with the free papers from the magazine
I just added the card stock from Stampin Up! and some other little bits from my stash.

I added some wink of stella but it doesn't show up very well in the photo.

The gem from was that well known auction site!

The sentiment is from You're a gem stamp set from Hunkydory FTLOS

I think it's my favourite of the 3.

But I love the sentiment on this one.

The bee and sentiment are Stampin Up! Dragonfly Dreams.

And this little one was so simple and quick.

"Glasses" the theme for the Merry Monday Challenge

I used Hunkydory's Night before Christmas craft stack
Loved this image - so far I'm on the "nice list"!

Having a go at "CAS" cards!

Watercolour birthday card for the CAS watercolour challenge
I usually add one or two embellishments so this was a real challenge!

just an 8 x 4 kraft card blank and a bit of watercolour card.
The stamped image is from Stampin Up!, coloured with
scarlet red, bright yellow, green and olive green kuretake pens
and a paintbrush.

then some daffodil liquid pearls in the centre.

The stamped sentiment is from Hunkydory FTLOS - essential inserts collection

Saturday 6 January 2018

I love this little fella -
he came with a magazine.
I am entering him in the cute card thursday challenge I hope you like him.
The papers were from a local craft store and I couldn't
decide which one to use - so I mixed them up a bit
and added a few pieces of all of them.
The butterflies are from stamps and punch from stampin up!
Coloured with kuretake pens
I have taken inspiration from the Fusion sketch
and made this card with free papers in Making Cards magazine.

The yellow card, ribbon and button was already in my stash.

The sentiment was stamped with The Essential Inserts Collection from
Hunkydory for the love of stamps.

I fussy cut some of the images to put around the sentiment.

Just love the bright, summery feel of the colours.

Monday 1 January 2018

Hi
and welcome to my first

I loved the Wonderful Meeting digi stamp from Fabrika Fantasy so much that I made 2 cards!

This is a 7" x 5" card - I inked the edges with Stampin Up! Marina Mist
Then added a layer of brown card
and a paper from For the Love of Stamps Perfectly Natural pad
I then made a "belt" about 1" from the paper
Backed it onto the brown card and positioned onto the base card.
I printed the image a suitable size for the card
and started to colour using copics (listed below)
I made a mask to cover the image and coloured the background
with Soft Sky ink, die cut the oval and edged with Marina Mist ink.
The flowers are from an Elizabeth Craft Designs die - Bunch of flowers
I cut them from white card and edged with Marina Mist ink
The centre is a blob of nuvo crystal drops covered in glitter.
Then I added some tattered lace cherry blossom in brown.
The sentiment is from "vintage affections" from LDRS

Copics:- Y21, YR3, YR23, Y28
E21, E51, E11, E31, E50
B16, B29, B14
W00, W1, W3, W5, W7
E74, E77, E79

I also water coloured the image.
This is a 7" x 7" card with a pink and blue layer on the base card
And a starfish charm, found on an auction site, tied with bakers twine - love charms.
I coloured the image using Stampin Up! watercolour pencils,
surrounded it with misty grey and toasted rose chalk cloud blending ink and
stamped the sentiment with coloured ink then clear embossed it.
