HAPPY HEARTFELT HALLOWEEN

This isn't scary - its my Floral Halloween
made using Heartfelt Creations stamps, dies and papers
I hope you like it.

So I used the Merry and Bright paper collection for my background.
The purple flowers were made using the Backyard Blossoms paper collection.
The orange flowers were made using the Oakberry Lane Blossom stamps and dies
And the beautiful swirls are made with the Delicate Border Basics die set.
The stamens are rock candy stamens
and the single orange flowers have black stickles for their centres.
The vellum Dogwood flowers have orange marmalade nuvo drops in them
which I coated in transparent glitter.

For full instructions, please pop over to the Heartfelt Creations blog, where you will find tonnes of inspiration for using the dies and stamps.

Thank you for popping by today - have a great Halloween.

I have been doing a bit of sewing this week!
The Handstitched Accents die  makes a great frame -
its perfect for sewing around with some embroidery thread I found in my stash.
Ive used the papers from the Buttons and Blooms paper collection
and made some flowers to co-ordinate with the papers.
The flowers were coloured using Stampin Up! inks
The leaves were made using Heartfelt Creations Leafy Accents
I am totally in love with my Leafy Accents and the fab mold to make the leaves.
This is what I created.
Full instructions are on Heartfelt Creations Blog.

Last week a delicate card made with the Buttons and Blooms Collection
Visit Heartfelt Creations Blog for lots of inspiration - click HERE

This week I've gone bright and bold - love the versatility of this collection
The card was shaped using the Album Tags and Accents Die.
And I used my Tim Holtz embossing powders on the flowers
then coloured them  with some bright inks.
Love the vivid blue of these fabulous papers.
I found a little wooded box in a craft/book store and it was perfect for
covering and creating a little caddy for keeping special things in.
My daughter has her eye on this one!

Full details and instructions are on the  Heartfelt Creations blog .

Bye for now

I loved the pastel papers straight away - so delicate.
So couldn't resist making some vellum flowers to go on this card.
I used Wow embossing powder to give some sparkle to the flowers.
And added them around the Eyelet circle.
I lightly coloured some Arianna Lace and the smallest die from
the Intricate swirl frames.
Then a perfect sentiment from the paper pad.

Sometimes you need a card to show you care

To make this card I used:-
HCPD – 3848 Cheerful note sentiments
HCDP1-279 Classic Wedding Paper Collection
HCD1 – 7156 Eyelet oval and basic small die set
HCPC – 3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms stamp set
HCD1 – 7200 Oakberry Lane Blossoms die set
HCFB1 – 467 Oakberry Lane mold
HCS1 -459-1 Assorted Pearl stamens – small
HCST1-401 Deluxe flower shaping kit
HCFS1-465 art foam paper

and a few other bits:-

Archival Ink – Magenta Hue, Archival Ink – Deep Purple, White card, pearls, clear embossing powder, black ink, foam pads, hot glue

The patterned paper made it sooooo easy to perfectly place the pearls.
This was my 2nd attempt at making foam flowers -
my fingers seem to be the same colour as my ink pads!
What a beautiful sentiment.
