Loads of anniversaries coming up over the next few weeks, so I made a head start with this great stamp set free with Making Cards and Papercraft Magazine.
 Perfect for cat lovers

I've used the Intricate Swirl Frames and Sweetheart Borders dies from Heartfelt Creations and the flowers are Heartfelt Creations Petunias with some of their beautiful stamens in the centre.

They were really quick to colour with my Kuretake watercolour pens.

The sentiment is from Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps

Thank you for looking

White card. Stampin Up! Inks:- Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron, Early Espresso, Pool Party. Princess Pink Chalk Cloud blending ink (Cosmic Shimmer). Green ribbon

Cut 3 pieces of card:- 5” x 4.5”, 5.5” x 4 ¼ “ & 5.5” x  2.5” – Score both the 5.5” card at 5"

Use the 5” x 4.5” piece as the back of the card, die cut to tops using the Fleur Border Basics die to shape the tops of each piece of card - being careful to die cut the centre card flowing in the opposite direction to the other 2 pieces. Edge with Pool Party ink

Trim the .5” tags on the 2 smallest pieces of card and adhere the pieces together ensuring that the tags are glued at the front of the card. (These will be covered by the paper)

Select your paper from the pad and cut a strip slightly smaller than 5”. Die cut the pieces to match the shape of the tops of the white card, edge around the paper with Pool Party ink and adhere to the card base

Stamp the cone flowers and backyard blossoms in Early Espresso ink and colour using sponge daubers before die cutting all the pieces. I used Rich Razzleberry and pink chalk cloud for the cone flowers.

Create a bow and adhere to the lower front edge of the card. Add the die cut flowers to the card using hot glue and use wet glue to hold the stems in place at the bottom.

Find the sentiment strip and cut to size, add to the card using hot glue. When the glue has hardened you can add a few more flowers to the sentiment strip to give a deeper definition at the front of the card

Welcome to my first post as a member of the
HEARTFELT CREATIONS DESIGN TEAM
I am sharing my Summer Wreath which I made using the
Sweet Peony Collection

Heartfelt Creations ingredients are:- Sweet Peony Collection paper pad, Under the Sea Collection paper pad, Large Sweet Peony stamp set, Large Sweet Peony die set, Small Sweet Peony stamp set,  Small sweet Peony die set, Delux Flower Shaping Kit
Other items:- Stampin up inks (Berry Burst, Marina Mist, Peekabo Peach, soft suede, Early Espresso, Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz), Dressmaker pins, Coloured pearls, 14” polystyrene foam ring, Ribbon, Brown acrylic paint

Make large flowers x 34:- Stamp on the pink colours using Berry Burst ink. The blue and orange papers are from the Under the Sea Collection – use Marina Mist and Early Espresso/Peekabo Peach to stamp and edge the blue and orange flowers. Each flower is made from 3 layers - the large sweet peony stamp  and one of the 3.5” x 1.75” flowers in the small sweet peony stamp set.
When the flowers have been stamped and die cut spray the back of the flower with a mist of water, use the flower shaping kit to add definition to the edges and nip the petals gently to create a more pointed flower. Once the flowers are dry, edge with ink and glue together.

Paint the foam ring with brown acrylic paint and allow to dry. Tie the ribbon around the ring, then position the flowers onto the ring using dress makers pins – push  one pin through the middle of each flower (use a thimble to do this).
Using the green paper from the pad, make as many large leafs as desired:- Stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink, diecut, shape and edge in Tranquil Tide ink.
Position the leafs amongst the flowers with hot glue/pins.
Make smaller flowers from the dark pink paper in the pad to fill any big spaces on the wreath.
Adhere a pearl to the centre of each flower to cover the pin head.

I hope you like my wreath
and would love it if you would follow me on my Heartfelt journey.

Tuesday 1 May 2018

Its time for another challenge at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies
This time the talents of Rick St Dennis

Which I coloured in Copics:-
Copics:- N4, N5, Y15, Y18, Y35, YR31, FRV1, RV25, R12, B00, BG34, BV17

I started with
5 3/4" square blue card base
5 1/2" square pink card
5" square lime green paper
Then layered these up onto the base card twisting them as I went - then ran a glue pen along the side of the layers and added blue glitter

I then layered some blue and pink card with blue dotty ribbon, and added this to the base card.  Adding glitter between the blue and pink card.

I die cut the image using the large label shape (Tattered Lace Shabby Offset Tags). The sentiment is Vintage affections from LDRS. Then I edged the tag with Summer Sky chalk cloud ink and attached to the card using foam pads.

I popped a spotty bow at the bottom attaching it with hot glue.

Hope you like my party dancing elephant.
