Loving Tattered Lace at the moment.
Found some old papers I quite liked and couldn't understand why I hadn't used them.
Used my stitched framelits from Stampin Up! for the sentiment.
And the fantastic Shabby offset rectangle.

The base card is Hunkydory adorable scoreable marble.
I used the Pink Peony die - and coloured them purple - with my copics.

If only I had made a note of the copics I had used!!!!

Then I used the Peony Lock die and coloured it with cosmic shimmer iridescent watercolour,
and highlighted the pattern with fineliner.

This is the finished card.
Happy New year

Running out of time - so close to Christmas,
I've just a few one liners to show off
some cards I have sent out this week to family and friends.

More baubles on some beautiful papers
a bit of Night of Navy ink and a navy die cut.
Love this card.

Same lovely papers and Toasted Rose chalk cloud
all on kraft card. Simple and quick.

And again with Toasted Rose chalk cloud
Really pleased with the golden gems behind the sentiment.

Wishing you peace on earth
love in your hearts
and
joy in all of
your days.

Today I'm sharing the cards I made with the Beautiful Baubles stamp set from Hunkydory -
For the love of stamps
I'm not usually a fan of bauble cards but the last 2 years I have embraced them as you can achieve so many different looks with them.

I tried the grunge look with this! a mix of 2 blues to create the background and baubles then got a bit over excited with the burnt look, I did add glitter swirls though.

This was my favourite bauble card, I love the lemon lime twist ink from Stampin Up!

See. . . . . Lemon Lime Twist again, but a bit more of a traditional look.

This is the dinky card - shows why we have Christmas - maybe should added Mary!

This one is going to Auntie Joan.

Thank you for looking - only 16 more sleeps!

Friday 1 December 2017

1st December - 24 sleeps til Santa comes, I know this because we have a chalkboard where we have been recording
the onset of Christmas since early November!

So, I'm sharing a set of 3 Christmas cards which I made using a
free stamp set from
Creative Stamping Magazine.

I used Trimcraft papers on all three cards. Silent Night - I bought it last year in the sale.
The base card is Stamping Up! Crumb cake.
Because this paper had an embossed Christmas tree printed onto it I highlighted the tree with ink and added a few blue snowflakes & sentiment.
The piece at the bottom is 1" thick bias binding with some dotty ribbon and linen thread wrapped around to hold the snowflake.
Loving the simplicity.

Loving the Christmas baubles again this year.
Same stamp set, same colour theme and paper pad.
Just add ribbon and pearls!

Almost the same ingredients!
But this is a dinky 4 x 4 card and I've used WOW embossing powder on the snowflakes.
The sentiment has been stamped
onto Crumb Cake card and die cut using Stitched shapes framelits from Stamping up!

I hope you like this weeks trio of cards
if you like what you see, it would be lovely if you would follow me!

Thank you for reading to the end.
