Happy Friday!
Today I am sharing my Cosy Polar Bear birthday card.
He's made using the free stamp set in Creative Stamping magazine - Winter Warmers.

He's a good size bear, coloured with Kuretake clean colour pens and I made his jumper separately, water coloured with my new pens and cut it out to pop on him.
The background circle layers are tattered lace torn edge circle diecuts.

Loved adding the chocolate lace to this card, it feels cosy, and I'm happy that I've given myself loads of space at the front of the stepper to make some flowers!

The larger flowers are Spellbinders dies - jewel flowers and flourishes  - and I found some gems to pop in the centre of the bigger ones.

The smaller flowers are Elizabeth Craft Design dies - I have had these in my stash for ages - I think these are my most favourite dies. They have a little pearl in the centre which I coloured with my alcohol markers.

Even if its not your birthday - Just chill.

This Fridays post is Christmassy - It's getting close.

These cards were featured in the Christmas edition of Making Cards Magazine - really lovely to make, I love the lime and kraft card together.

The letters are Tattered Lace diecuts.

Plenty of swirls of glitter and a simple stamped verse.

Inky background with white embossing, glittered stencil paste and tattered lace mistletoe - I love this one.

All good things come in 3's!

Have a good week.

Hello

Thanks for popping by to have a look at what I've been up to this week.

The free papers in making cards magazine are fab and I just layered a bit of black card with this topper and added backing paper and a sentiment stamp from the free stamps. There's a few glittery stars on it too.

I love this little guy. . . . so cute . . . I layered him on black and white card then added a metal Christmas tree charm with my bakers twine. The charm is just right with the free Christmas tree paper that comes with the magazine.

It's my brothers birthday in December - this will be perfect for him. I've used the free stamps from a previous issue to stamp the sentiment.

Another little cutie enjoying the snow. With the black layers and an inch thick lace bow finished of with a bit of sparkle gem.

Thank you for looking - which penguin is your favourite?

I love Christmas and all the preparations. I've been asked to make a card for a special couple, loved making this card, so this is the one I am sharing for my post this week.

The Father Christmas image has come from Hunkydorys Third Little Book of Christmas, I've layered the image onto Trimcraft's Silent Night paper, edged it with Sahara Sand ink (Stampin Up!) and mounted it on a piece of silver mirri card.

The sentiment has been printed onto white card stock and I used a circle punch then edged it with ink and placed it in the centre of a silver mirri die cut .

I also added another paper from the Silent Night paper pad, again edged with ink and used it as a layer to mount the main sentiment onto.

The amazing holly is a die cut from Tattered Lace - Christmas Flowers. I die cut them and inked them to give a little shading then used Autumn Red nuvo crystal drops on the berries and sprinkled them with Dovecraft ultrafine red glitter. Once the drops had set and excess glitter removed I was able to shape them with a bone folder.

Then I added the personalisation and a little bit more holly.

The bottom layer of the card is from the Trimcraft paper pad, it has glittered areas on it and really gives the base of the card a luxury finish.

I'm pleased how this turned out. Hope you like it too.
